Children and young people (and their families) play a central role in the life of our church. Our aim is to nurture and guide our young people in the way that Jesus taught us and encourage them to be part of our loving and caring Church family.
Safeguarding
At Menston Methodist Church we are fully committed to protecting young and vulnerable people and, under the guidance of our Safeguarding Officers, are doing all that we can to ensure our members comply with the current Methodist Church guidelines through Disclosure & Barring Service checks (DBS) and attending relevant training.
Our Policy Statement on Safeguarding Children, Young and Vulnerable People is approved each year by the Church Council.
