Our calling is to ensure that the pastoral care we offer is appropriate and helpful for each individual who needs it.
The Methodist Church has a system of care for both its members and those who join us for worship, weekday groups and meetings.
As a caring Church we believe that pastoral care is at the centre of our church life and ministry. Our Pastoral Visitors are allocated a group of people who they visit and keep in regular contact.
Pastoral Visitors offer friendship as well as giving practical assistance where needed. They pray for them and are a link in a chain of communication hopefully being aware of problems such as illness and loneliness as well as sharing in their joys.
We all need pastoral care, leaders, members, Pastoral Visitors themselves as well as our Minister and in these practical ways we share the love of God with our community.
